Scientist-Educator Partnerships & Opportunities
Summer Envisionships
Six-week long summer research experiences are available for selected high school students and teachers who conducted the Discover the Microbes Within! lab series in their classrooms. These paid summer research experiences would occur in a Wolbachia research lab at the MBL or local institution near your own location.
The intention is to embark on a new project that will allow teachers and students to experience what a scientist's day is like while collecting reliable data new to the scientific community. Stipends will be competitive and we encourage applications from individual students and teachers or pairings of a teacher and student from the same classroom.
Please contact us with any questions. The application is currently not available for this opportunity.
